Pakenham is located approximately 25 kilometres southeast of Dandenong and some 55 kilometres south east of Melbourne.

Pakenham has a relatively young population which is experiencing strong growth with a potential expected to reach 185,387 by 2036 in the Cardinia Shire & 64,000 in Pakenham alone.

The existing shopping centre enjoys representation by all major banks together with other national retailers. Pakenham Place Shopping Centre is easily accessible to Pakenham’s Main Street, the Princes Highway and the Railway Station. Pakenham is home to Victoria’s first privately managed Livestock Exchange as well as many other large scale industries.

Pakenham is beginning to come of age reflecting population growth with new industries and an expanding variety of community services.  The Pakenham bypass has dramatically reduced the travelling time to the CBD.

In recent years the Real Estate climate of Pakenham has been overwhelming with a steady rise in property values. The current market activity seems set to continue as a younger population looks to move to its greener pastures.
